Cut The Noise, Buy A Rotary Mower

Noise pollution is enough to drive anyone crazy. In the summer, the sound of all the garden tools in my neighborhood is deafening. It would be great if my neighbors ditched their gas an electric lawnmowers and picked up a hand pushed rotary mower. These lawnmowers look like the ones our grandparents used, but that is the only similarity.

The new hand pushed lawnmowers are lighter and easy to handle. Not only are they great for your health, they tone down the noise in the neighborhood significantly. You can buy the rotary lawnmowers at places like The Home Depot and Lowes. You can even find an antique at a garage sale.

If you don't mind a bit more exercise, an antique mower is just as good as a new one when it comes to cutting capability. You can set the height of cut on both. The real beauty of these mowers is that they make you get some exercise. It's is one's own brute strength that pushes them back and forth across the lawn. They will save on gas bills, air pollution, and most definitely keep the weekend gardening noise down.
